Rod Brown of Farley Insurance
Rod Brown has been with Farley Insurance since 2001 and if you have been to a charity event, you’ve likely bid on a Farley Insurance donation in the silent auction. To say that Rod and Farley Insurance is invested in the community would be an understatement. After almost 20 years with Farley, Rod’s favorite part of his job is helping people after a catastrophe to help give them the much needed peace of mind.
A native of Andrews, Rod left Cherokee County to study at the University of Idaho, then returned to be close to his family and friends. He has proudly raised his son and daughter here in Cherokee County with his lovely wife, Amy. If you have a child that has attended Murphy High School, you know Mrs. Brown and her dedication to our local students. Rod loves the small town atmosphere and you will often see him outdoors, hiking and enjoying the lake with good company.
Rod’s favorite thing about being a Chamber of Commerce member is the friendly people at the AfterHours and stopping by the Welcome Center to visit. If you get a minute, share a craft beer with him and chat about the proper way to create the perfect grass fed burger.
His best advice as you seek to insure your family or business is to ask a lot of questions. Truly take the time to really look over your policy and ask all the questions, including: What type of claims are covered or not? What could happen if I have to make a claim? Better yet, give Rod and Farley Insurance a call to see how best they can protect your greatest investments. You may even get a discount as a Chamber member.
